Meetings/Training
General meetings are on Monday nights. They are for all members and visitors,
from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The last Monday of each month is for the Officer's/Crew
Committee meetings: The Officer's meeting is from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm and the Crew
Committee meeting is from 8:00 pm to 9:30 pm. Anybody may attend but only
Officers and/or Crew Committee members may vote on initiatives.
We meet in the fellowship hall in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, 12430 Rt. 216 (Scaggsville Road), Highland, MD 20777 (the intersection of Rt. 216 and Browns Bridge Rd). See Maps
We have weekend trainings every month for members.
The trips involve various activities, some involving training for search and rescue and some high-adventure. They might be camping, rock/ice climbing, caving, backpacking, kayaking/canoeing, land navigation, survival skills, or search simulations. It is up to youth members to decide.
